Mining Pool Setup Guide

Complete guide for setting up and configuring the BLGV Bitcoin mining pool.

⛏️ Pool Infrastructure​

Server Requirements​

  • Ubuntu 20.04+ or similar Linux distribution
  • 16GB+ RAM, 1TB+ SSD storage
  • High-bandwidth internet connection
  • Multiple server locations for redundancy

Installation​

# Install dependencies
sudo apt update
sudo apt install python3 python3-pip postgresql redis-server

# Clone BLGV pool software
git clone https://github.com/BlockSavvy/Unified-Treasury-System.git
cd Unified-Treasury-System/platforms/pool

Configuration​

# Pool configuration
POOL_CONFIG = {
    'host': '0.0.0.0',
    'port': 3333,
    'fee': 2.0,  # 2% pool fee
    'minimum_payout': 0.001,  # 0.001 BTC

Basic Configuration​

payout_method = lightning
